Jenny’s brother Darren lost the love of his life at a time when he was doing so well, he had a home, his soul mate and his dog that he adored... Darren was trying to get by in life as everyone does, dealing with daily struggles and challenges.
After his loss he found it incredibly difficult to function without her, and unfortunately turned to the streets. Despite so many attempts to help Darren, he would go missing.
Growing up so close together, Jenny holds onto the special memories they had. Darren had an infectious smile and a generous heart, and would sing at the top of his voice and smile despite grieving and dealing with his own suffering.
He would give what little money he had to others on the street also in his situation, so they to didn’t go without food.
One of Jenny's treasured memories of Darren was how he would always sing to her and this gave her the inspiration to create a single and raise money for the homeless both here in the UK and Worldwide. Darren was found passed away on the streets of London wearing two charity bracelets supporting the Veterans and the Homeless.
Jenny is working tirelessly and channeling her grief into helping the homeless which is something she has always supported and will continue to do so.
